CUBA Update is a quarterly
magazine published by the Center which covers mainly politics, economics and the arts,
with an emphasis on U.S.-Cuba relations. With our own correspondents in Havana and the
input of experts in both Cuba and the U.S., CUBA Update provides
accurate, accessible news coverage and discussion of important issues almost impossible to
find elsewhere. Recent issues have focused discussion on immigration, sexual politics,
sustainable development, women, travel the U.S. embargo, and a special number devoted to
director Tomás Gutiérrez Alea.
CUBA Update is sent free with membership in the Center for Cuban
Studies, or can be subscribed to separately for $35 a year (individual) /$45
(institutional). Back issues can be obtained for $8 each, including postage. For information on submissions, contact Sandra
