YEAR-END LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR OF THE CENTER FOR CUBAN STUDIES

Dear Center Friends,
We're sending you the attached in the mail if you're a  member or a
regular contributor, but doing mailings can take awhile, and this way
you'll be able to read the attached information right now! Of course, I
ask you for a contribution -- but just as important, I am enclosing a
list of our upcoming trips and especially our 40th Anniversary Trip to
Cuba in April-May 2012. I hope you'll sign up: it promises to be a very
special experience, like no other trip to Cuba you've ever taken. And
please take note of the free gifts we are getting ready to send you for
your contributions, too.
This is an annual ritual, and I know that many of you, like us, are
hurting because of the economy. But I also know that you have been
incredibly generous with us through the years and that you will
contribute what you can. All of us at the Center thank you in advance
for sending us whatever you can.
May the New Year be better -- and let's fight to make our voices
heard in the 2012 election season. Let's put US-Cuba relations on the
agenda!

Sandra
